Edit Quantity in Item Receipt without Unlock Period

Hi All

Is it correct Editing Quantity in Item Receipt just need to Re Open Closed Posting Period and Accounting entries in GL Impact is auto updated, there is no need Unlock Period without any consequences?

I managed to do it after Re Open Closed Period when AR AP and GL Transactions still Locked in Diley Database.  That means Editing Item Receipt not restricted by Locked AR AP and GL Transactions?
