Is SuiteCommerce In-Store compatible with SuiteTax?

I've heard conflicting responses on this, but would anyone happen to know if SuiteCommerce InStore (The POS module) is compatible with SuiteTax enabled?

As a note, we currently have Avalara operating over SuiteTax.
