How do I scan a custom barcode in SmartCount (NOT WMS)
We have custom barcodes that are neither the UPC code nor the Item Name. I have created item labels that have the new barcodes, but am unable to scan them in SmartCount. WMS has an item alias, which works well in WMS locations. However, my retail locations are not WMS, nor will they ever be. I need a solution to scan the barcode in the mobile device. I believe that the Mobile app for SmartCount will need to be modified to read and associate the custom barcode with the item, but don't know where exactly to set this.
