project profitability dataset - delayed updates?

For one of our customers project profitability is essential. We need to get a view on the actual costs and combine that with some other metrics in an analytics report. For that I created a dataset based on the Project Profitability record. The most important thing there is that a cost is set as an "Actual" (so actual cost) on a project/project task.

Everything points towards that this requires a script to run and this script only runs at midnight. That means that the "realtime" reporting actually is always one nightly run behind.

Is there anything I can do to alter this? Can I make it run every 15 minutes or in realtime? Is there maybe a manual way to trigger the script?
