Order Reservations--Can you select the supply source?

Hi There

Is it possible to select the supply source when creating an order reservation?

Scenario: there is inbound shipment that is for a specific sales channel (inbound shipment 1)

There is also another inbound shipment, with the same expected receipt date which is not for a specific sales channel. (inbound shipment 2)

How do you prevent the order reservation from selecting from inbound shipment 2?

As a related question, why do order reservations sometimes pick from inbound shipments and not from the underlying purchase transactions?
