WMS Preferred & WMS Sequence #

Am I correct in saying that the very helpful feature of WMS Preferred Bins and WMS Sequence # is unavailable for CSV import?

So, if I have 1000 items and I want to add 3 WMS Preferred bins to each item, I would have to perform 3000 individual updates?

If so, that is truly ridiculous. What is the point of the feature if it can only be used if the values are set manually, one item, one bin, at a time?

Please tell me I have missed something
