Customization Request – Trial Balance Report to Show Parent Subsidiary Currency
Hi Team,
We would like to customize the Trial Balance report to display balances in the parent subsidiary currency, in addition to the transaction currency, for consolidation purposes.Specifically, we are looking for a solution where:
- The report shows the transaction currency balances as usual.
- The report additionally displays the equivalent balances in the parent subsidiary (consolidation) currency.
- This would facilitate easier consolidation and reporting across subsidiaries.
Could you please confirm:
- Is this type of customization possible in NetSuite?
- If yes, what would be the recommended approach (saved search, financial report customization, SuiteScript, or any other method)?
Any guidance or documentation on this would be greatly appreciated.
