Active BOM Revisions

Hello Team,

Could you please clarify the difference between the Active status and the Effective Start and End Dates on BOM revisions?

As shown below, all BOM revisions appear as Active and are selectable on the Work Order. However, some revisions are past their End Date or have not yet reached their Start Date.

Please advise. Thank you!
