No GL Impact on Second Work Order Completion After Additional Work Order Issue (Average Costing) Qu

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue related to Work Order costing and GL impact in NetSuite and would appreciate your help in understanding the system behavior.

Scenario:

  • Costing Method: Average Cost
  • Work Order Quantity: 2

Transaction Sequence:

  1. Work Order Issue 1 – Issued components for quantity 1
  2. Work Order Completion 1 – Completed 1 quantity (GL impact generated)
  3. Work Order Issue 2 – Issued components for the remaining quantity
  4. Work Order Completion 2 – Completed 1 quantity

Observation:

  • After creating the second Work Order Issue, the GL Impact of the first Work Order Completion changed.
  • When I created the second Work Order Completion, there was no GL impact generated.
