SuiteTax Engine not triggering on Vendor Bills created via Integration (RESTlet)
Hi everyone,
I'm facing an issue with SuiteTax and Vendor Bills created through a RESTlet integration.
The Scenario:
- We have SuiteTax enabled.
- When a Vendor Bill is created manually via the UI, the Tax Engine works perfectly, applying tax rules and calculating taxes automatically upon saving.
- When the same Vendor Bill is created via a RESTlet (developed by a third party), the tax engine does not trigger, and the
taxdetailssublist remains empty.
What we've tried:
- We attempted to expand the deployment of the native SuiteTax Bundle scripts (specifically
ste_ue_transaction_ui.js) to include the RESTlet context. - However, this resulted in the following error:
