Transfer an employee - best practices?
SummaryWhat is the best practice for transferring an employee from one line mgr to another?
We are still learning our new HCM Rel 11 and I'd like to ask you best practices for processing transfers inside a legal entity. Now it seems that current manager makes the transfer and also decides new salary for the employee? In our organization current manager should initiate the transfer but new manager must always make the final changes (salary, cost center, grades etc.). I wouldn't like to make this as HR task but as part of managers' responsibilities.
