Usability issues with new learning plan widget
Summary
Usability issues with new learning plan widgetContent
Is anyone else using the new Learning Plan widget without the new HTML5 supported player? We recently launched the new learning plan widget but did not turn on the HTML5 player and are noticing a few usability issues with some of our end users. I’m wondering if others are as well.
Since we don’t have the player enabled, when someone launches a course, it opens in a new window. Then when they finish that course and are taken back to the learning plan widget in that same window, the vertical scroll bar is not present. So this then makes it impossible to scroll down the page to see all items that are in the learning plan widget. Most people don’t realize that a new window has opened so they don’t know to close it to get back to the original browser window.
