Limitations of Fixed Assets Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet

Summary

Limitations of Fixed Assets Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet

Content

We're facing the following issues while using Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet in Fixed Assets to create the Key Flexfields in Oracle Assets.

1. The value sets created by the Spreadsheet, get the Value Set Code from a seeded pattern and we cannot modify that. Ideally we'd have liked to create the Value Sets using our own naming convention. Is there a way to have the value sets created with a specific naming pattern?

2. When we create the flexfields, we'd like to use certain existing value sets such as the Cost Centre Segment Flex Field from Financials COA flexfield. But the Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet creates a new value set with it's own value set. The value set is also mandatory, so we cannot leave it blank in the spreadsheet. Is there a way to use the existing value sets in the spreadsheet?

Howdy, Stranger!
