The attached Hints and Tips document provides answers to common OTBI questions and explains some techniques that will be useful when building a range of reports. These include how to calculate a person's age from their date of birth, how to change the default aggregation on a calculation to show, for example, the average age of employees and how to limit a report to a specific rolling period eg events in the last 12 months. Included in the document is the XML for 2 sample reports that demonstrate the techniques discussed. The XML for the main report is also provided
