External Training Permissions Question

External Training Permissions Question

Content

I noticed that users aren't able to add External Training items with the updated My Tasks widget, unless this permission is applied under user roles to the general user role. HOWEVER, users CAN edit External Training and map to categories with the permission unchecked. Is this by design? Seems inconsistent. Also, I would prefer to turn off category mapping, so if this could be handled by a permission that would be great.
