Summary

Erroneous and indefinite Course Score of 100% reported when authoring tool's Retry Quiz button is clicked.

An Articulate Storyline 3 file was published using SCORM 2004 3rd Edition to resolve bookmarking / SCORM data limit issues when SCORM 1.2 was used.  We are currently publishing with LMS Reporting Status as "Pass/Incomplete" since we want the course to remain Incomplete until/unless the learner passes the quiz within the module, which allows multiple (but limited) attempts.

If the learner passes the first attempt, the Course Status changes to Completed and moves to Transcript (accurately) and the first-attempt score is accurately reported on both the BI Report and the learner's Transcript.  However, if the learner fails the first attempt and clicks the "Retry Quiz" button (with no other navigation), the score reported by Taleo Learn is changed (indefinitely) to 100%.  While we can tell from "Completion Status" and "Course Completion Date" (or lack thereof) whether a passing quiz-score was achieved, we typically need to be able to document an accurate score: if nothing else, it is confusing
