1) We designed OTBI reports for line managers in Workforce Compensation. when the launch report, it will have a dashboard at top which will default to blank. They click drop down and pull their own record and refresh which will populate report with their direct and indirect reports (if any). To enable this, we were advised by Oracle to check 'view access to own record' for the person security profile tied to line manger data role. This worked fine.

Later we went live with Core opening ESS and MSS. With above setting, line mangers are having ability to self terminate, change their own job related details (like locaiton, mailcode, supervisor, job code, etc) which is undesirable.Navigation is About Me > My Account. Click the orange contextual icon with an i symbol.
