Course Scoring Behavior Question

Summary

Scoring Behavior Retain Highest vs Always Update

Content

So we've been using the LearnCenter for a LONG time and I this is the first time I have had an issue with this.

We have had over 30 users complete a course and have no score or a non-passing score. Our testing shows that the course works fine on SCORM cloud.

The LearnCenter default was set to:

Scoring Behavior: Always Update

Failed Completion Status: Incomplete

Our testing of the courses show that if a user completes the test and then restarts the test, the course overwrites there score or deletes the score when we use "Always Update."  If we change it to "Retain Highest" then the course retains whichever score it higher and if the test in the course is restarted and the course sends a "clear score" in the same session then score is retained.
