Auto-Provisioned Employee role doesn't work for some user

Hello Experts,

In our system we have a user can't login (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS), who was hired with auto-provisioned employee role (custom employee role). However, in Security Console, we found the Auto- Provisioned value for this employee role of this person is No. I have tried to delete this employee role, press button of Add Auto-Provisioned Roles, the employee role was added back with Auto-Provisioned checkbox checked, but after i click Save and Close, the value of Auto-Provisioned for this employee role became No again...

Any idea what might be the problem?
