How to get Salary History with current salary details

Hi
I have a report requirement , when selecting the year form dropdown the salary details has to be display for that year for all employees. So, for this I have used subject area "Compensation - Salary History Details Real Time" , but it is not giving the latest year details.
StartDate | End date | Salary Amount |
20/10/2016 | 31/12/4712 | 4000 |
2/2/2015 | 19/10/2016 | 3000 |
1/1/2014 | 1/2/2015 | 2000 |
for Ex : by above table , if I select year 2014 ,2015,2016 I am getting the results accordingly , but if I select 2017,2018 I did not getting salary information, How can i get this 2017,2018 salary information as well.
If I use subject area "Compensation - Salary Details Real Time" the I will get the latest salary information but not history . But with the "Compensation - Salary History Details Real Time" i am facing above issue . Shall I use both subject area , if so how can I use it .
