Recurring Learning Plans ... assigning weird recurring dates

LP renewing users years in advance and for weird target dates.

Two weeks ago, I had one user's renewal for a 5 year (60 m) recurr in January ... he was assigned the LP months before and completed it.  It shouldn't have assigned for another 4+ years.

Today, I had 3 learners (out of 166) that were reassigned the learning plan to a target date 15 years before ... 1/1/2002 ... and that's not even the cycle they're on.  All 3 were assigned within the last several months, only one completed the coursework and the other two weren't due yet.

Anyone else experiencing this?  I copy myself (Training account) on all renewal messages or this would've gone past me .. .except when I run my late report.  I've logged an SR.  My previous SR was only one individual ... now it's 3.
