Performance manager role mapping

In order to assign permission to performance manager in HCM Fusion we defined a role mapping with these data:
HR Assignment Status = 'Active'
Manager with Reports = 'Yes'
Manager Type = 'Line manager'
The mapping works correctly until the performance manager is stil a line manager.
However, we have had a reorganization so that almost 300 performance managers are no longer line managers.
So they are no longer enabled on the My Evaluation page in order to evaluate their reports.
Is there a way to avoid manually assigning to each of these managers the role of performance manager,
