I'm wanting to explore the use of variance scenarios, a la Planning/PBCS, but keep coming up against constraints that seem to stop this; I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Here's the problem:

1. Although I can put a member formula against the variance scenario (can't use @VAR as it's not supported so it has to be a basic a - b approach), I can't set the scenario to be dynamic calc (at least the simplified dimensions editor won't let me). So I have to approach it by having it calculate in the rules.
