Absence balance consumption from End Dated Plan

Dear Techies:

We have come around an interesting requirement where Plan1, Plan 2 are attached to Type1, and at a time one of the two Plan will be active for worker.

Say - 01-JAN-2018 - 28-FEB-2018 worker was eligible for Plan 1 having 20 balance. Effective 01-MAR-2018 worker is eligible for Plan 2 and Plan 1 became Inactive.

Requirement is if worker is applying for further leaves after 01-MAR-2018, balance should first get exhausted from Plan 1, and then from Plan 2.

The only workaround that we can think of is to transfer balance from Plan 1 to Plan 2, as Inactive plan balance can't be consumed for applying leave, as balance can be consumed only for the absence dates falling in the duration in between the Enrolment Start Date and Enrolment End Date.

Howdy, Stranger!
