Triggers are duplicated for one day when restoring learning plan messages


Anyone else noticing incorrect triggers when restoring learning plan messages? I opened an SR 6 months ago and now they tell me it wont be fixed until around this time next year. Hoping someone has a better solution.

We edited our default learning plan messages (7 different messages) under Communications > Messages. For example our LP Due Soon and LP Overdue messages are setup with about 5 triggers so they get email reminders before/after 28 days, 14 7, 4,1.

Then we edited an existing learning plan inactivated and restored those old messages so they used the triggers and updated text that we setup under Communications > Messages. Then we activated that message but thats when it goes bad. The triggers are not what we setup in the template. They seem to repeat but over and over for one day.
