OIC Lookups vs BIP call for large volume transformation

Hi,

We have few integrations to ERP cloud that needs to get some supplier information from Cloud for the data transformation.
The incoming file will be a large file (close to 10MB), and the data in cloud if exported might come close to 1MB.

We have a few questions for this:

1. If we were to use lookups to store the data needed, will it pose any problems? Is there a maximum size allowed for the lookups?
2. If the integration was to call a BI Report that returns full data needed (again, close to 1MB) to do data transformation, would it cause any performance issues?
