Joining a DVCS Dataset with OBIA Subject Area

Summary

Want to join bespoke external data set to existing OBIA Subject Area

Content

Hi

We have uploaded an Excel sheet into DVCS so that we can view and analyse this in OBIA.  What we really like to do is link this to an existing Subject Area so that we can report on the standard business units, cost centres etc.

We have employee number in both "data sets"

When we start new analysis on the external dataset, we are unable to add the existing Subject Area, and vice versa - it seems to want us to use a "union" query, but we don't have the same fields in both data sets?
