Directed/Manual Putaway: LogFire doesn't split LPN if Location Capacity Insufficient

edited Mar 31, 2019 9:24AM in Warehouse Management 1 comment

Summary

If LPN volume is greater than the location capacity system not recommended to split the LPN

Content

Hi,

In Oracle on premise WMS, in case the LPN volume exceed the suggested location capacity the system request the user to split the LPN into new LPN with certain quantity that can be carried in the destination location.

We've noticed the current OCWMS behaviour that, the system raise an error message: the location space is insufficient to maintain the transacted LPN, which would request a lot  of manual and calculation effort from the RF/handheld user to know what action to be taken.

Howdy, Stranger!
