Standalone S&OP cloud solution using external sources

Summary

We are looking into implementing Standalone S&OP solution using external data sources. All our ERP implementations( Oracle, SAP ) are on-premise.

Since our source system is not cloud ( OPS ), we cannot use the standard planning collection to collect any data. I am looking for guidance on how to proceed.
 
  • Can we load all the data elements needed for S&OP planning using flat files into planning cloud?
  • If yes, what all data elements we would need to load to be able to run S&OP plans in planning cloud?
  • Any known issues with this approach?
