Q: Defaulting from Position doesn't clear out existing CBA details

Hi Experts,

My customer has two types of positions for Hourly employees versus Salaried employees.

Both types of positions have workforce structures defaulting viz. Job, Department, Location from position to assignment.

Also, only for the hourly positions - they have enabled defaulting of the Collective agreement, Union and Bargaining Unit fields from the position to the assignment in addition to the above.

When we hire an employee and select an hourly position – all (CBA as well as Jobs, Departments etc.) the details are defaulted successfully.

But when we update the assignment for e.g. using Action = Promotion, upon selecting the salaried position the other fields do get defaulted successfully for e.g. Job, Department, Location but the CBA details (from his hourly position) don't get cleared out.
