I have setup a product transformation rule by exactly replicating the workaround under point 2ii) in note id.2223599.1.
The requirement is essentially to include the promotional/free item when the ordered quantity for the originally entered item is greater than a certain quantity. (for example, if Qty is more than 100, then a line with another item with Qty 30 has to be added as the free item)
However, I see that instead of considering the originally entered line, OM / Pricing is picking the newly added line with the free item and is repricing the order based on the Qty on this line, which is wrong and misleading.
