FCCS: how can we load assets in positive and liabilities in negative

Content

Hi all

I need some suggestions about the following as I am not getting any luck with Oracle support:

We are currently loading assets in positive and liabilities in negative. Same for PL.
In HFM and also in FCCS we would set all the accounts for an account type as Assets and everything else would work fine.

The issue comes with the automatic calculation that FCCS performs. The CTA account which stores the currency translation variance for the historical accounts is an Equity/Liability account and this account takes into consideration the account type, and therefor calculates CTA with a different Sign.
