Essbase connection on Smart View change to new

Is there a quick way to update SV connection on existing Essbase retrieve files?

We upgraded the Hyperion applications and users need to change to new connections on Smart View.

When they open a Essbase retreive file, it still prompt them to connect to the old database (even though the old connections have been removed from Smart View already). They have to go to each tab, connect to the new database, click on "Ad hoc analysis" so that it takes the new connection.This only needs to be done once per tab. But it's still a lot of work.
