DFF to be auto-populated based on selection of other field

Content

Hi Everyone,

I have 1 critical requirement where I need to create a DFF that is supposed to get auto-populate as soon as I change the Designation of the Employee. Example : If Designation field gets changed to Lead, this DFF should get auto-populate to value 3, if the Designation field is changed to Trainee, this DFF value should get auto-populate to 1.

So, as per the requirement based on selection of 1 field , DFF should get auto-populate. Kindly confirm if this can be achieved in Fusion.

I was able to restrict the list of values of DFF by creating a dependent valueset on the independent field, but I am not ale to make the value auto-populate. Any help will be really appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
