Data map error when clear data option is selected

Hi, I'm running into an error when a data map is executed and the clear data option is selected.  Oddly the data map runs fine if I don't select the option to clear data first.  Has anyone run into this?  The log basically tells me nothing:

Clearing data...
Push Data failed. Error: null
