How to avoid overwriting closed Forecast Periods

Hi all,

Last week, I posted a question on the forums about generating data that spreads into multiple years and periods:

Thanks to John's suggestion, I was able to write a business rule that met the above requirement. However, I now have a different issue

For the first time, we will be actualizing forecast next budget cycle. In a data entry form, entering data into YearTotal, data spreads into the open periods only, which is great. However, if I use a business rule to input data, it can overwrite closed Forecast Periods.

Howdy, Stranger!
