Helpdesk - Is it possible to make the problem description read-only for certain roles?

Hi all, 

Is it possible to make the SR problem description for help desk ready only for certain roles one? e.g. HR agents are able to update but payroll agents are not. They will have a different role in the system? I think the answer is no for seeded fields but I would like classification.
