Financial Reporting Center - Not sync'd real-time with OTBI?

When creating an Analysis, Dashboard, etc. in OTBI it does not show up in the Financial Reporting Center for some time (many hours).  Is this by design?  Is there a way I can push changes to FRC so the users can get to the reports?  Not everyone has access to run them from Reports and Analytics.  Thanks for any insight!
