EEO reporting with the new check box system for Personal Details?

Summary

How are you getting around the removal of "Two or More Races" as an option? How are you adapting to multiple choices for ethnicity?

Content

Hi all,

We recently updated to 19D for HCM Cloud and have encountered a change in Personal Details that could potentially skew our EEO reporting. Before this update, ethnicity was treated as a drop down menu where you could select one of a few choices, two of them being "Two or More Races" and "Not Disclosed". After the update, it has become a  series of check boxes with both of these choices removed.

Since it has been the former method for so long, our EEO reporting file has been accustomed to having these options. With the removal of them, what have others been doing to comply with EEO standards and reporting? Are you manually keying the multiple races, are you creating a script to return "Two or More Races" if there are two or more checked off? Any and all information about this new change is welcome, whether its how it is stored on the backend, how you report it, how it is treated in Person Management, etc.

Howdy, Stranger!
