We have a requirement for our client, for CTO (back to back ‘make’) sales order, where the order coordinator submits the sales order, the sales order gets scheduled and the supply order(work order) gets generated for the sales order (automatically). Our client uses a 3rd party production scheduling tool (slotting tool) from which the production schedulers get the latest available/ possible dates that needs to go on to the work order. Once the production scheduler has the latest dates of the work order, he updates the work order dates, which gets cascaded to the sales order (either as SSD or ‘Available to Ship Date’). Since the production scheduling is outside of Oracle ERP Cloud, the order coordinator should always wait until the Production scheduler has updated the latest date.

Howdy, Stranger!
