Do not auto-reconcile "No Activity" beyond 3 months

Summary

Customer is moving from BlackLine to ARCS

Content

Hi there,

We are trying to replicate an auto-reconciliation rule in ARCS for a customer. The customer does not want an account with "No Activity" to be auto-reconciled forever.

In their current BlackLine system, if an account is marked with an auto-certification rule as "No Activity"; BlackLine auto-certifies them if there is no activity in the account for say 3 periods. On the 4th period, even if there is no activity on the account, BlackLine flags this account and does not auto-certify. The preparer and reviewer will go through the usual certification activity. This way, such accounts will not go unnoticed forever. The preparer and reviewer will be able to keep a tab on such accounts at least once in 3 months.

Howdy, Stranger!
