Question is on the calculation logic for Attrition drivers in Supply Planning


Hi Team,

Posting this in Planning forum since I couldn't find a separate forum for Strategic Workforce Planning.

My question is on the Attrition drivers in Supply Planning. Can you let me know if my understanding is correct for the below pre-defined drivers / calculation logic?

Attrition by Job -

  • Takes into account the retirements happening in the year
  • Takes into account attrition rates by Job
  • Calculates the final Supply FTE and Supply Compensation values
  • This is done at the selected job

Attrition by Age Band - ​

  • Takes into account the retirements happening in the year
