Newly added Dimension not displaying in the smartview dimension (editor) Planning extension

Summary

New Dimension not displaying in smartview to be able to add new members.

Content

Using a Standard EPM license.  Created a Planning application.  After application was created, I added a new dimension using the dimension editor (classic view).  This dimension is not showing in the list of dimensions available to edit within smartview within the Dimension folder.   I refreshed the database, closed and reopened excel.
