Regarding the new 20B ability to accommodate forecasting for ETO items by using an associated model item -

Q1) can someone elaborate on the business process holistically?

For example,

1create a new item in PIM that is not a model?  Leave 'base model' empty?

2Create and price the Sales Order.

3Return to PIM later to assign base model and create structure (via copy from base model)?

4Run Collection with ETO flag 'checked'

5Run Demand Plan ....

Q2) Does this ETO functionality assume that the Sales Order does NOT have config details?  (ie that the link to the model is only kept in the item master)...
