Planning\PBCS Forms POV updating - how to prevent?

What are the settings to allow dimension selections made on a form to persist, when updated on a different form?

Hi,

On the PBCS\Planning Cloud web interface, we need to make member selections on a form, and then open another form, make member selections, then return to the first form and the selections will still be there.

At the moment, the functionality is baffling: opening a second form seems to make the setting in that form over-write the selection made in the first form, yet returning the first form, the member will be what was selected in the second form. Altogether extremely confusing!
