Set End date dynamically to final day of the month

Is there a way to dynamically set the approver end date to the final day of the calendar month?

For example, if the preparer has until workday 17, and the approver has an addition 5 days, the reconciliation will not be approved until work day 22. In the instance that workday 22 crosses periods, the request would be to set the approver deadline on the final day of the current month. Is there a way to dynamically set the approver end date to the final day in the calendar month?
