OIC Sql server connection without Agent for PaaS DB

Problem Statement

We have requirement to connect Azure PaaS SQL DB , but currently Oracle OIC doesn't allow sql server connection/DB connection without agents.

Agent means physical machine technically we are asking Cloud to cloud connect using VM (to  run agent) which is big limitation .

Use Case and Business Need

DB Connection without Agent :

Azure/PaaS DB with no backend access to clients , OIC being cloud friedly should add option to connect like TNS,JDBC based connectivity

 

Benefit : 

For true PaaS environments agent installation is not possible and can be huge business impact organization already running on PaaS.
