Unable to embed a reference doclet in the doclet

I am using a word doclet from SmartView and have an MR report as a reference doclet. From Embed Contents, when I select the available MR Grid to insert in the doclet, I get the following error (see screenshot) : "Invalid Range Selection. Unable to embed content at the current selection. Select a single empty paragraph and try again." Anybody who might have faced this issue and was able to resolve or workaround it? Thanks in advance!
