One of the most important functionality needed to manage suppliers efficiently is the search capability. Supplier Cloud provides keywords based search that allows you to search using one of the five supplier profile attributes Supplier Name, Supplier Number, D-U-N-S Number, Alternate Name and the Parent Supplier Name.

 

To ensure the keywords search functionality is performant, the search engine ignores some very common words, referred as stopwords, from the saved supplier attribute values. Some of the common words or the stopwords are:

The, Although, Only, Then, Where, Why, Some, But, Can, Were etc.
