UOM conversion of Operations material Item while creating the Maintenance Work Order

Description

While creating Maintenance Work Orders through FBDI or RESTful services, the operations-material-item UOM is selected by default for the mentioned item (from PIM). Currently, there are no provisions to pass the UOM/UnitofMeasure attribute while creating the Maintenance Work Order (MWO) through RESTful Service. Although the FBDI have the UnitofMeasure field but any value provided errors out the MWO creation request.

Use Case and Business Need

If an Unit of Measure conversion is required while creating the MWO operation material items, presently there are no such provisions using the FBDI or REST services.
